This itinerary in Rajasthan offers you a varied circuit during which you will stay in ancient Indian residences transformed into divine hotels. You will have exceptional experiences such as sleeping in an old colorful haveli and in the fort of Bhainsrorgarh, (ideally located next to the river), going on a jeep safari and a camel ride.
You will make many visits: for example the rat temple, the city of Jodhpur with its magnificent fort of Mehrangarh (with a past steeped in history with the royal family who still lives there), the great fort of Chittorgarh (its many temples, its monumental gates and its unique architecture) and the small village of Bhainsrorgarh. You will also discover the Jaisalmer dunes. You will meet the villagers in Narlai or Jojawar.
You will go to Ranthambore National Park in India for a jeep safari before going to the pink city of Jaipur to discover these many monuments to visit. You will take an elephant ride to Amber Fort to finish by visiting the sumptuous Taj Mahal (one of the seven wonders of the world) at sunset for an extraordinary vision! We must not forget the cameras.

Day 1
Arrival at Delhi International Airport:

The visit to the capital of Delhi begins with the Qûtub Minâr, a gigantic minaret and one of the most visited tourist sites in Delhi. Day 2
Delhi - All day tour

After breakfast, the visit of the capital of India continues through the Red fort: a moghole architectural fortress located in the Old City of Delhi. Built by Emperor mughol Shah Jahan, the fort has been a UNESCO World Heritage site since 2007. Continuation of the visit to the local market of Chandni Chowk, famous for its colorful clothing displays. It remains one of the largest wholesale markets in Delhi, well-known in India. Here you will have a fascinating experience of Indian traffic in the middle of this neighborhood. Then, visit Humayun’s tomb, a magnificent example of the mughal architecture. End of the visit of Delhi With The Connaught Square Market, built by English before Independence. Return to the hotel where your guide awaits you to discuss your stay and discuss the details necessary for the smooth running of your trip to India.

Day 3
Delhi - Shekhawati (Mandawa / Alsisar / Churu)

After breakfast at the hotel, drive to Shekhawati (Mandawa / Alsisar / Churu) according to the category of the chosen hotel; three small villages with ancient havelis (sumptuous houses built in the 18th and early 19th centuries by merchants who made their fortune through the caravan trade) richly decorated and very colorful. You will be free to explore the surroundings and the small spice and vegetable markets. Night at the hotel.

Day 4
Shekhawati: All Day Tour

After breakfast at the hotel, visit the ancient Shevelhawk havelis (Mandawa / Churu / Alsisar region) to admire the murals and learn about the history of the village. In the evening, visit the small market on foot for your souvenirs. Return to the hotel.

Day 5
Shekhawati - Bikaner

After breakfast at the hotel, road to Bikaner, stop between Shekhawati and Jaisalmer. Bikaner is a modern city which developed around its fort. Arrival at the hotel, an ancient palace of the king of Bikaner then visit the Deshnok temple dedicated to Karni Mata (a Hindu goddess) also called “the temple of the sacred rats” (adobe of many rats, which are sacred and treated as such, their presence bless those who attend the temple which grants them religious protection) or visit a camel farm. Return to the hotel.

Day 6
Bikaner - Jaisalmer

Your day begins with a visit to Fort Junagarh, a huge citadel one kilometer in circumference,Grand tour of Rajasthan former palace of the Maharaja built by the Mughal empire, then a long drive to Jaisalmer, `the city of gold”. Arrival in the early evening. Transfer to the hotel. Visit the old havelis Patwaon ki haveli and Salim Singh ki haveli, the oldest and most beautiful havelis carved with incredible architecture. Day 7
Jaisalmer - Thar Desert:

In the morning, visit the fort of Jaisalmer still inhabited today and then visit the haveli. In the afternoon drive towards the Thar desert by jeep. On the way, visit the famous sites of Bada Bagh, a Jain temple, the unusual village of Kuldhara. Arrival at your camp for a sunset camel ride with a magnificent view. Dinner in the desert under the stars. Night at the bivouac under the tent.

Day 8
Thar Desert - Jodhpur

Early in the morning, before breakfast, contemplation of the sunrise in the fresh desert air. Then departure for the blue city of Jodhpur. Visit to the Mehrangarh fort. The Mehrangarh Fortress was built in 1459 as an eagle’s nest by the founder of Jodhpur, Rao Jodha, who gave his name to Jodhpur. In ocher limestone, the fort rises more than 135 m above the city. The maharajas lived in the Mehrangarh fortress until the beginning of the 20th century. The interior courtyards reveal superb sculpted facades and the fort houses historic collections. In the evening, walk to the market. Return to the hotel.

Day 9
Jodhpur - Narlai / Jojawar

After breakfast at the hotel, visit the palace of Umaid Bhawan which is one of the largest private residences of King Gaj Singh with part transformed into a hotel. Then drive to Narlai or Jojawar (depending on the hotel chosen), the two small villages located between Jodhpur and Udaipur. Visit the small village where you will stay. Meet the villagers. Rest at the hotel. Each of the two hotels offers activities that you can book directly on site.

Day 10
Narlai / Jojawar - Udaipur

Breakfast at the hotel. Continue to Udaipur. On the way, visit the Kumbhalgarh fort which isbest rajasthan tours india the most important fort in the Mewar after that of Chittorgarh. Then visit the Jain temple of Ranakpur located in the Aravallis chain. Arrival in Udaipur, the city of lakes. You will be free to discover the charming city of Udaipur with a past steeped in history. Day 11
Udaipur - All day tour

Breakfast at the hotel and all day, visit Udaipur. Visit the City Palace, one of the most beautiful palaces in Rajasthan, which consists of a complex set of Maharaja palaces, notably comprising the Chandra Mahal and Mubarak Mahal palaces. The King still lives in part of his palace today. In the evening, the possibility of attending a religious ceremony at the Jagdish temple. We advise you to book your dinner at the Ambrai restaurant, very well located next to the lake and considered the best restaurant in Udaipur.

Day 12
Bijaipur - Bundi - Bhainsrorgarh

Road to Bijaipur, a small region near Chittorgarh. Visit the fort of Chittorgarh, the largest fort in all of India, masterful and majestic, with an important historical past, with its ruins, its immense doors, its large gardens, its temples. Transfer to the hotel, formerly an old castle now transformed into a hotel. You will be received by the royal family who still live there. Rest at the hotel.

Day 13
Bijaipur - Bundi - Bhainsorgarh

After breakfast at the hotel, drive to Bundi, a small historic town less touristy. Visit the famous baoris, these huge ancient wells known for their extraordinary architecture composed essentially of stairs. Continue to Bhainsorgarh, a small village located just next to the Chamba river. You will be staying in a large historic fort. Evening at the hotel.

Day 14
Bhainsrorgarh - visit

After breakfast at the hotel, full day visit to the village of Bhainsrorgarh. Meet the villagers, discover their daily life, possibility of doing various activities at the hotel (contact us) such as a boat trip, a visit to the old temples, a sunset jeep safari. Free evening to rest at the hotel.

Day 15
Bhainsrorgarh - Ranthambore

Breakfast at the hotel. Departure for Ranthambore, a national park; one of the most visited in North India. Arrival in the afternoon or a meal will be served. Rest and dinner at the hotel.

Day 16
Ranthambore: Jeep Safari - Morning and afternoon

Very early in the morning, after breakfast, head to the national park for a jeep safari. Return to the hotel for lunch. In the afternoon, a new jeep safari in the park. Return in the evening and dinner at the hotel.

Day 17
Ranthambore - Jaipur

Road to Jaipur, the pink city of Rajasthan. Arrival at the hotel in the afternoon. Visit the monument the Palace of the Winds (hawa mahal), built in red and pink sandstone by King Sawai Pratap Singh in 1799. It is considered one of the marvels of Rajput architecture. The palace is a five-storey pyramid-shaped monument that rises 15 m. The first three floors of the structure are one room wide, while the first and second floors have additional balconies. Its unique five-story facade is like the honeycomb of a beehive with its (it seems) 953 small windows called Jharokhâ, decorated with intricate lattices of stone or wood. The original intention was to allow the women of royal harem (Harem royal ladies) to observe daily life in the street below without being seen. Free evening to explore the colorful markets and shop for souvenirs.

Day 18
Jaipur - All day tour

The day begins with a visit to Fort Amber, the original seat of royal power and one of the most beautiful buildings in Rajasthan, with the great history of the Mughal era with an elephant ride. Then visit Jaipur, also called the Pink City. Originally, the city was not the uniform pink that we know today, but offered a wide palette, mainly gray with white highlights. It was in anticipation of Prince Albert’s visit in 1876 that it was painted pink in its entirety, pink being a traditional welcome color. Since then, it has kept this use and has been nicknamed the pink city. Jaipur - Fatehpur Sikri - Agra

After breakfast, drive to Agra. On the way, stop at Fatehpur Sikri, the former imperial capital of the Mughal empire founded by the Mughal emperor Akbar who had decided to make this city his capital instead of Agra. Road to Agra and transfer to the hotel.

Day 20
Agra - Delhi

Early in the morning, at sunrise, discover the beauty of the Taj Mahal, one of the seven wonders of the world, built by the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan for his wife Mumtaz Mahal, who died in childbirth. Continue with a visit to Fort Rouge. Return to Delhi. Transfer to the hotel near the airport.

Day 21
Delhi International Airport

Breakfast at the hotel, according to your return flight schedule, transfer to the airport. If you have a flight in the evening or at night, you will be free to visit the city with the driver or to meet your guide to give him feedback on your trip.
