This 19-day tour begins with the state of Gujarat and continues to the Indian capital “Delhi”. Discover the national parks of Velavadar known for black bucks in India and also of Sasan Gir known for Lions and Wankaner.

Explore the Dasada, visit the temple at Modhera and a small village in Patan known for its ancient monuments, free to stroll by the lake at Mount Abu, Dilwara temple for its architecture, city of Udaipur for its lakes and palaces of Maharaja, the largest fort in Mehrangarh, the citadel city of Jaisalmer, take an excursion to the Thar desert.

Rat temple in Bikaner awaits you and the small old havelis of Mandawa, continue towards Jaipur, a historic city, visit the palace of winds, palace of Maharaja and Fort Amer, visit the famous monument of Taj Mahal in Agra and continue towards the capital from India “New Delhi”.

Itinerary

Day 1

Arrival in Ahmedabad:

Reception at the airport of Ahmedabad, a major city of Gujarat and transfer to the hotel. Free time to discover / visit the city.

Day 2

Ahmedabad - Velavadar:

Continue to Velavadar and transfer to the hotel, evening take a safari in the best sanctuary to see the Black Buck in India. There is a possibility of seeing several other animals as well as the birds migrating in this region. Return and overnight at the hotel

Day 3

Velavadar - Palitana :

After the morning breakfast leave for Palitana and on arrival transfer to the hotel. Towards the end of the afternoon visit the Takhteshwar temple, a Gaurishankar lake and return to the hotel.

Day 4

Palitana - Sasan Gir :

After breakfast, drive to Sasan Gir and transfer to the hotel. Continue for the jeep safari in Sasan Gir National Park, a single park known to see lions. You can also find several other animals such as Indian deer, antelope with four horns, and bears. Return to the hotel at the end of the evening.

Day 5

Sasan Gir - Wankaner :

Early in the morning, another safari in Gir NP then return to the hotel and after breakfast drive to Wankaner on way visit Junagadh and Rajkot, visiting the famous Ashok Rock Edict, Junagadh Museum etc. also Watson Museum, Rashtriya Shala to see the weaving cloths and local Rajkot city.

Arrive at Wankaner and enjoy visiting the Palace Museum and local village, overnight stay at Wankaner.

Day 6

Wankaner - Dasada :

After breakfast drive to Dasada (280 Kms), home of Asiatic Wild Ass at “Rann of Kutch”. Visit the sanctuary where you find several types of animals as well as the birds can be seen and take a short trip to the local village to see the local tribes, overnight stay at Dasada.

Day 7

Dasada - Palanpur :

Road to Palanpur visiting Modhera and Patan before reaching the hotel. Take rest and explore the city later.

Day 8

Palanpur - Mount Abu :

After breakfast continue to Mount Abu, a mountainous region located in Rajasthan. En route visit the sun temple in Modhera as well as the small town of Patan which is known for its textiles and architectural monuments. In the evening, you will be free to visit Lake Nakki and see the beauty at sunset. Night at the hotel.

Day 9

Mount Abu - Udaipur:

This morning visit the Jain temple, Dilwara which is very famous in the world for its architecture and explore the local bazaars to buy souvenirs. Then, departure towards Udaipur, a city of lakes. In the evening right by the lake see the magnificent view at sunset. Return to the hotel.

Day 10

Udaipur - all day tour :

All day visit to the city of Udaipur. Visit the city palace, see the house of Maharaja where he currently lives. Discover the Jagdish temple and in the evening a boat trip on Lake Pichola. Night at the hotel.

Day 11

Udaipur - Jodhpur :

Early in the morning, departure from the direction of Jodhpur – a blue city. On arrival, transfer to the hotel and visit Fort Mehrangarh which is one of the largest forts in Rajasthan. Then visit the Umaid Bhawan Palace and discover the famous Sadar Bazaar market in Jodhpur where you can find colorful clothes and antiques. In the evening, return and enjoy your hotel.

Day 12

Jodhpur - Jaisalmer :

After breakfast, a long drive to Jaisalmer – the citadel city. In the evening, arrive at the hotel and enjoy your evening.

Day 13

Jaisalmer - excursion to the Thar Desert:

In the morning, visit the Jaisalmer fort in which people have lived so far and also visit a haveli. In the afternoon, an excursion to the Thar desert by jeep and enroute visit the famous sites. You too take a camel ride at sunset which gives a magnificent view. Then, have dinner organized in the desert below the stars and also a local show. Return to the town of Jaisalmer.

Day 14

Jaisalmer – Bikaner :

Continue to Bikaner, a camel town in Rajasthan. Transfer to the hotel then visit the fort of Bikaner and possible to visit a farmed camel. Enjoy the hotel.

Day 15

Bikaner – Mandawa:

After breakfast, take the road to Mandawa which is a small historic place, visit the ancient havelis colorful and decorated with the paintings on the wall. Then stay in the small old haveli or an old fort.

Day 16

Mandawa – Jaipur :

After breakfast, take the road to Jaipur – a pink and big city of Rajasthan. In the evening, watch a bollywood film at the Raj Mandir cinema, which is a unique experience. Night at the hotel.

Day 17

Jaipur - all day visit:

Your day begins with a visit to Fort Amber, a possibility of riding on the back of an elephant. Return to Jaipur and visit the Palace of Winds and explore the markets at your feet. Night at the hotel.

Day 18

Jaipur - Agra :

Early in the morning, departure to the direction of Agra – the city of Taj Mahal. Enroute a short step to visit the site of Fatehpur Sikri – the ghost town and the ancient capital of Agra built by borrower Akbar. After the visit, continue to Agra and visit the Baby Taj and possibility of attending a Mohabbat-e-Taj show. Return to the hotel.

Day 19

Agra - Delhi International Airport:

Early in the morning, at sunrise, visit the famous Taj Mahal for a magnificent view. Then, the possibility of visiting the Red Fort which has a very great history of the Mughals. Continue to Delhi International Airport for your return flight.
