This route allows you to discover the national parks of Gujarat with a visit to the small village of Sayla known for the weavers and several monuments.

Take jeep safaris to Velvadar National Park which is known for black bucks in India, a Gir park which is a home for lions and also Little Rann of Kutch for different donkeys and birds.

Itinerary

Day 1

Arrival in Ahmedabad:

Reception at the airport of Ahmedabad, a major city of Gujarat and transfer to the hotel. Free time to discover / visit the city.

Day 2

Ahmedabad - Velavadar:

Continue to Velavadar and transfer to the hotel, evening take a game drive in the best

sanctuary to see the Black Buck in India. There is a possibility of seeing several other animals as well as birds migrating to this area. Return and overnight at the hotel.

Day 3

Velavadar National Park:

Early morning game drive in Velavadar National Park as well as in the evening. Return and overnight at the hotel.

Day 4

Velavadar - Sasan Gir:

After breakfast, drive to Sasan Gir and transfer to the hotel. Continue for the jeep safari in

Sasan Gir National Park, a only park known to see lions. You can also find several other animals like Indian deer, antelopes with four horns, bears. Return to the hotel at the end of the evening.

Day 5

Sasan Gir - Somnath - Sasan Gir:

Early in the morning, take the jeep safari in the park then return to the hotel. Excursion to the temple of Somnath which is located around 70 km from Gir. The old temple of Shiva is rather known among Hindus and the structure was built several times. Return to Gir.

Day 6

Sasan Gir - Sayla:

Early in the morning, take the road to Sayla – a small village known for weavers and several monuments. Then you will be free to explore the area and see birds.

Day 7

Sayla - Dasada / Bajana:

Continue to Dasada or Bajana and en route visit the “Nalsarovar” bird sanctuary. Then take the road to Dasada.

Day 8

Dasada:

All day dedicated (morning and evening) for safaris to “Little Rann of Kutch”. Return to

the hotel.

Day 9

Dasada - Ahmedabad airport:

Morning, visit the surroundings of Dasada and in the afternoon, transfer to Ahmedabad airport.
