The state of Madhya Pradesh has many Hindu temples which are known all over the world, such as the Shiva temple in Ujjain. Visit the regions of Indore, Mandu which have monuments and history from Afghan times. The great Fort in Maheshwar, the sacred river Narmada, temple of Shiva in Omkareshvara.
A magnificent view by the fort of Gwalior, the temples of small town Orchha, the erotic temples of Khajuraho, the national parks in Bandavgarh. This varied itinerary allows you to discover another India that is unique and more historical.

Itinerary

Day 1

Arrival at Delhi International Airport:

Reception at the airport (usually overnight) by our representative and transfer to the hotel with your driver. Night at the hotel.

Day 2

Delhi - visit: all day:

After breakfast, visit Delhi city for the whole day. Continue towards old Delhi and visit the famous mosque called Jama Masjid and the Red Fort. Next, discover a local market in Chandni chowk which is too famous and well known in India. In the afternoon, passing through India Gate, Parliament House and visit the Lotus Temple which is very different than the others. In the evening, rest at the hotel.

Day 3

Delhi - Indore (flight):

After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight to Indore. Arrival and transfer to the hotel, the afternoon begins the city tour. This city is known for such historical monuments as Rajwada palace, Laal Bagh palace and Jain Kanch Mandir temple. Return to your hotel. Day: 4

Day 4

Indore - Mandu:

Road to Mandu, a city with several ruins and temples of Afghan architecture. Overnight in the hotel.

Day 5

Mandu - Maheshwar - Omkareshvara:

Morning, continue to Maheshwar and visit the Fort which gives a magnificent view of Narmada, a sacred river with its ghats in India. In the direction of Omkareshvara, a most sacred city in India and located next to the Narmada river. Visit the great and famous temple of Shiva, return to the hotel.

Day 6

Omkareshvara - Ujjain:

Towards another sacred city, Ujjain where you will find several Hindu temples. In the evening, visit the small market to buy souvenirs and return to the hotel.

Day 7

Ujjain - Gwalior (night train):

After breakfast at the hotel, visit the most famous temple of god Shiva and Ganesha located in the holy city at Ujjain. Then transfer to the station for the night train to Gwalior. Night on the train.

Day 8

Gwalior - visit:

Early in the morning, arrive at Gwalior station and transfer to the hotel. Visit this central city of Madhya Pradesh, the large and magnificent Fort, a temple of Saas Bahu known for Hindu architecture. Night at the hotel.

Day 9

Gwalior - Sonagiri - Datia - Orchha:

Departure in the direction of Orchha, en route a stop at Sonagiri and Datia. Sonagiri, located around 65 kms from Gwalior and a sacred place of the Jain religion. There are several Jain temples in white color. Datia, a palace with 7 floors is Bundela’s best work. There are several mural paintings in the palace. Arrive Orchha and transfer to the hotel.

Day 10

Orchha - visit: all day:

All day long, visit the fort, the palace, the temples. Possibility of a bike ride and rafting on the Betwa river. Rest well at the hotel.

Day 11

Orchha - Khajuraho:

Departure towards Khajuraho, visit several monuments and Hindu and Jain temples. This unique site is marked by UNESCO in the world site. Night at the hotel.

Day 12

Khajuraho - Ajaygarh - Bandhavgarh:

Morning trek to Ajaygarh fort to see a splendid view of Khajuraho. Continue to Bandavgarh, a national park with lots of tigers. In this park you have a better chance to see tigers. Overnight in the hotel.

Day 13

Bandhavgarh: Safari in the national park:

Early in the morning, your day begins with the safari in the national park. Return around noon and rest well until the afternoon, then another safari in the park to see the other animals. The Bandavgarh park has very beautiful plantations and a magnificent view. Return in the evening and rest well in your hotel.

Day 14

Bandhavgarh - Jabalpur - Delhi (flight):

Early in the morning, after breakfast drive to Jabalpur airport, then flight to Delhi. Arrival and transfer to the hotel.

Day 15

Delhi - International Airport:

Last day in India, transfer to the International airport for your return flight.
