The cultural and traditional route of the Central East allows you to discover the region less touristic and very different than North or South India. They are less developed cities but with too much history of tribes as well as temples.
Start your day with the famous temple of Bhoramdeo, the shrine of Barnawapara, overnight in a palace of Kanker, the tribes of Jagdalpur and its surroundings, fall of Chitrakote, beautiful landscapes of Rayagada. Also visit the colorful Onkudeli market from where you will meet the Bondo tribes.

Itinerary

Day 1

Arrival in Raipur - Bhoramdeo:

Reception at the airport by our representative and take the road to Bhoramdeo, transfer to the hotel with your driver. Night at the hotel.

Day 2

Bhoramdeo - visit:

After breakfast, visit the Gonds and Baiga tribes with the packed lunch. Next, visit the

temples of Bhoramdeo dedicated to the god Shiva and return to your hotel.

Day 3

Bhoramdeo - Sirpur - Barnawapara:

After breakfast, continue to Barnawapara Shrine and on the road visit the small historic village of Sirpur. Arrive at Barnawapara and go on safari in the park. Return and overnight at the hotel.

Day 4

Barnawapara - Kanker:

Early in the morning continue for the safari in the park and return to the hotel for breakfast. Take the road to Kanker and transfer to the palace where people traditionally welcome you. In the evening a local dance performance is organized by the royal family and also you will have the chance to meet someone from the royal family. Night at the palace.

Day 5

Kanker - visit:

After breakfast, drive to Keshkal for the magnificent view of the forest. Then visit the small villages and meet with the tribes. A possibility to eat with the local people and drink a local drink. Evening, visit the tribal market to buy souvenirs.

Day 6

Kanker - Jagdalpur:

Morning, continue to Jagdalpur and enroute visit Kondagaon and also a small village of Dokra known for its trades. After lunch, visit the Tokapal tribe market and see the tribes called Maria. Overnight in Jagdalpur.

Day 7

Jagdalpur - Excursion:

Take an excursion to visit the villages, the Kanger valley national park for its Kotumsar

caves and Tirathgarh rapids. Night at the hotel.

Day 8

Jagdalpur - Bastar visit:

Half-day visit the Bastar region in Jagdalpur, then visit the museum and some art center. After lunch, discover the local tribes and also Chitrakote waterfall which is the biggest waterfall in India.

Day 9

Jagdalpur - Rayagada:

After breakfast, take the road to Rayagada and see several beautiful landscapes on the road. Transfer to the hotel.

Day 10

Rayagada - Chatikona - Koraput:

After breakfast, take the road to Chatikona, a remote village with Dongaria kond tribes. Then after lunch continue to Koraput known for its waterfalls and forests.

Day 11

Koraput - Onkudeli - Visakhapatnam:

Take the road to Visakhapatnam and en route visit the colorful Onkudeli market where

you will meet the Bondo tribes. Then, transfer to Vikaskhapatnam and overnight at the hotel.

Day 12

Vizag - Departure:

Depending on your flight schedule, transfer to the international airport for your return flight.
