Itinerary

Day 1

Arrival in Dimapur - Kohima:

Reception at Dimapur airport by our representative and transfer to Kohima. Arrive at your

camp, located at the foothills of Japfu Mountain, a traditional welcome by the tribes of Nagaland. Then, check in in your luxury tent and proceed for your lunch. Rest well in the evening around your camp, drink special tea and dine.

Day 2

Hornbill festival visit:

After breakfast, take the road to Kisama village to see the Hornbill festival. See all sixteen

different types of tribes showing its Nagaland culture and tradition. You might see many types of music, dancing, cooking, paintings, crafts, traditional sports and other games / competitions. Return to camp and have your lunch. Evening you will have an option to return to the festival and attend a musical performance, visit the market for souvenirs or eat the local cuisine. Then, return to the camp and have dinner.

Day 3

Second day of Hornbill festival:

After breakfast, second day to visit the festival, take the road to Kisama village to see the Hornbill festival. See all sixteen different types of tribes showing its Nagaland culture and tradition. You might see many types of music, dancing, cooking, paintings, crafts, traditional sports and other games / competitions. Return to camp and have your lunch. Evening you will have an option to return to the festival and attend a musical performance, visit the market for souvenirs or eat the local cuisine. Then, return to the camp and have dinner.

Day 4

Excursion - Kohima and Angami village:

Today, excursion to Kohima village, the capital of Nagaland. Visit the Kohima cemetery from

world war two and also a museum which has a lot of war stuff. Then continue to visit Angami village where you will eat local food. Discovered the unique architecture with decorated walls. Evening, visit to your camp and spend your last night in peace.

Day 5

Kohima - Dimapur airport:

Today, after breakfast, return to Dimapur airport, end of your trip to India.
