Visiting Maharashtra in Rajasthan allows you to live a unique experience of these two parts of India, explore the Bollywood region of “Mumbai” and visit the major city then the famous caves of Aurangabad, Ajanta and Ellora which have a lot of history of the Hindu religion.
Visit the other part of the “Rajasthan” route, start with the city of lakes “Udaipur” known for its beauty, the house of Maharaja and his city palace museum, a walk to lake pichola, continue to Jodhpur and visit the largest Mehrangarh Fort, the yellow city of Jaisalmer, excursion to the Thar Desert and explore the small region of Mandawa known for its ancient decorated havelis. History of Amer Fort and Wind Palace in Jaipur, the romantic city of Agra for Taj Mahal.

Day 1
Arrival at Mumbai International Airport:

Reception at the airport (usually overnight) by our representative and transfer to the hotel with your driver. Night at the hotel

Day 2
Mumbai - visit: all day:

Your first day of visiting India begins in Mumbai, the city with too much traffic everywhere. Take an excursion and visit the Elephanta Caves located on an Elephanta Island, this site is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Return in the afternoon and visit the famous sites of Mumbai Gateway of India, Dhobi ghat, Marine drive and at the end Chowpatty beach which is known for street food. Night at the hotel.

Day 3
Mumbai - Aurangabad (flight) - Ellora:
  • Early in the morning, transfer to the airport for your flight to Aurangabad. Pick up at the airport and transfer to the hotel, then continue for a visit to the Ellora Caves which is also a Unesco World Heritage Site. In total there are 34 caves, and cave number 16 is the best known of god Shiva. Return and overnight at the hotel.
Day 4
Aurangabad - Ajanta - Aurangabad:
  • After breakfast, excursion to the Ajanta caves which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. There are a total of 30 caves separated into two divisions and it shows the best architecture of ancient India. Return to Aurangabad and overnight at the hotel.
Day 5
Aurangabad - Udaipur (flight):
  • Today transfer to the airport for a flight from Udaipur via Mumbai. Reception and transfer to the hotel located on the lake. Evening free to take a walk around the lake or the small market.
Day 6
Udaipur - all day tour:
All day city tour of Udaipur. Visit the city palace, see the house of Maharaja where he currently lives. Discover the Jagdish temple and in the evening a boat trip on Lake Pichola. Night at the hotel.
Day 7
Udaipur - Jodhpur:
  • Early in the morning, depart in the direction of Jodhpur – a blue city. On arrival transfer to the hotel and visit the Mehrangarh fort which is one of the largest fort in Rajasthan. Then visit Umaid Bhawan Palace and discover the famous Sadar Bazar market in Jodhpur where you can find colorful and antique clothes. In the evening, return and enjoy your hotel.
Day 8
Jodhpur - Jaisalmer:

After breakfast, long drive to Jaisalmer – the citadel city. In the evening, arrive at the hotel and enjoy your evening.

Day 9
Jaisalmer - Thar desert excursion:

In the morning, visit the Jaisalmer fort where people live until now and also visit a haveli. In the afternoon, excursion to the Thar Desert by jeep and enroute visit the known sites. You also take a ride on the back of the camel at sunset which gives a magnificent view. Then, the dinner organized in the desert under the stars and also a local dance show. Return to the city of Jaisalmer.
Day 10
Jaisalmer - Bikaner:

Continue to Bikaner, a camel town in Rajasthan. Transfer to the hotel then visit the fort of Bikaner and possible to visit camel breeding farm. Enjoy the hotel.

Day 11
Bikaner - Mandawa:

After breakfast, take the road to Mandawa which is a small historical place, visit the ancient havelis colored and decorated with the paintings on the wall. Then stay in the small old haveli or an old fort.

Day 12
Mandawa - Jaipur:

After breakfast, drive to Jaipur – a pink and grand city of Rajasthan. In the evening, watch a bollywood movie at the Raj Mandir cinema which is a unique experience. Night at the hotel.

Day 13
Jaipur - all day tour:

Your day begins with a visit to Fort Amber, an opportunity to ride on the back of an elephant. Return to Jaipur and visit the Palace of the Winds and walk to discover the markets. Night at the hotel.

Day 14
Jaipur - Agra:
Early in the morning, departure towards the direction of Agra – the city of Taj Mahal. Enroute a short stopover to visit the site of Fatehpur Sikri – the ghost town and ancient capital of Agra built by Emperor Akbar. After the visit, continue to Agra and visit the Baby Taj and possibility to attend a Mohabatt-e-Taj show. Return to the hotel.
Day 15
Agra - Delhi International Airport:

Early in the morning at sunrise visit the famous Taj Mahal for a magnificent view. Then, possibility to visit the Red Fort which has a great history of the Mughals. Continue to Delhi International Airport for your return flight.
