This tourist package offers you the chance to discover an authentic and unspoiled destination in North India: Rajasthan. This route offers less touristy destinations and also less known. Your tour begins with the capital of India, New Delhi which has many historical monuments. Then you will visit the bird sanctuary in Bharatpur via the Taj Mahal. You will stay in the old fort of Ramathra; this will give you a unique and unforgettable experience. Several activities will then be offered around the small village.
You will go to the historic city of Bundi, which has splendid baoris (Indian wells). You will see the impressive Taragarh fort with its superb view of the city. You will discover one of India’s largest forts, Chittorgarh Fort and stay in a historic castle in Bijaipur. A visit to the main town of Udaipur with its historic streets, its old havelis transformed into a hotel, its magnificent palace of Maharaja with its attractive and colorful museum will be a must. Then you will discover the Jain temples of Dilwara in Mount Abu, on the big lake Nakki, with splendid sculptures. You will sleep in luxurious tents at Jawai Bandh, a place known for its impeccable service and to spot leopards.
Your stay will continue in a historic hotel: Le Rohet Garh, with its large gardens, near the lake, in the center of a small village. Then you will go to Chhatra Sagar where you will stay in luxurious tents located on an ancient dam. A member of the royal family is always present to welcome you in a traditional way. The journey continues with the Brahma temple and the sacred lake at Pushkar then continues to the Pink City of Jaipur where you will visit the great fort of Amber, several historical monuments such as the City Palace, the Palace of Winds and Jantar Mantar. This itinerary will allow you to have a unique experience in palaces transformed into luxury hotels, while remaining close to small villages.

Day 1
Arrival at Delhi International Airport:
Reception at the airport by our local representative and transfer to the hotel with

Start your stay with a visit to the capital of India, Delhi, and the discovery of the Qutub Minar, the tallest minaret and one of the most visited tourist sites in Delhi. Then visit the Lotus temple, very different from all the other temples, in the shape of a lotus flower, a symbol of purity inextricably linked to the religious spirit in India. Considered the Mother Temple of South Asia, it is a monument that aims to be open to all beliefs. Then visit the India Gate monument, the Gate of India. It is a memorial to the 70,000 soldiers of the Indian army died during the First World War. Then stroll through the surrounding gardens, passing by the Rashtrapatibhavan, the official house of the President. Night at the hotel.

Day 2
Delhi - Agra - Bharatpur:

After breakfast at the hotel, you will take the road to Bharatpur, a small town in eastern Rajasthan, near Agra. En route, visit the famous Taj Mahal, one of the Seven Wonders of the World, built by Shah Jahan for his wife Mumtaz Mahal. The Taj Mahal is surrounded by numerous gardens, a mosque, a guest house. Continuation of your trip to Bharatpur. Transfer to the hotel (possibility of staying in a historic hotel, contact us). Visit the temple of Lakshaman, dedicated to Vaikuntha-Vishnou, located in the center of the city. Return and overnight at the hotel.

Day 3
Bharatpur - Ramathra:

Bharatpur is famous for its bird sanctuary: a unique place for the enjoyment of bird wathers where rare Siberian cranes immigrate during the winter period. Very early, visit this bird sanctuary listed as World Heritage by UNESCO. After breakfast, continue to the fort of Ramathra, located near Ranthambor. En route, stop at Fatehpur Sikri, a city in the state of Uttar Pradesh. It was the imperial capital of the Mughal Empire from 1571 to 1584. Built by the emperor Akbar, perfectly preserved since its abandonment, it is a remarkable testimony of Indian architecture of the 16th century. Transfer to your superb hotel Le Ramathra Fort. Free time.

Day 4
Ramathra - all day visit:

The day is devoted to the discovery of the region with a boat trip on the lake, facing the fort. Visit the region by jeep to discover the small village then a short walk in nature. Bird discovery program around the fort organized by the hotel. In the evening, after a tiring day, you can have a massage (payable directly at the hotel). Night in the fort.

Day 5
Ramathra - Bundi:
Road to Bundi, a small quiet town less touristy. Transfer to your hotel then visit Fort

In the evening, free time to explore the small spice and vegetable markets and chat with the locals. Return and overnight at the hotel.

Day 6
Bundi - Bijaipur:

After breakfast, continue to Bijaipur. Rest in a historic hotel, an old house of Thakurs (former residential palace). Rest at the hotel by the pool or on a horse ride around the city. A jeep safari in the village is also a good option to see and chat with the people of the village. Night at the hotel.

Day 7
Bijaipur - Chittorgarh - Udaipur:

Early in the morning, visit the surroundings on foot. After breakfast, drive to Udaipur via Chittorgarh. Visit the fort, the largest fort in all of India, masterful and majestic, with its palaces, temples and incredible architecture. Arrival in Udaipur in the late afternoon and transfer to the hotel. Free evening to explore this small lake town, take a walk by a lake or explore the small markets on foot. Return and overnight at the hotel.

Day 8
Udaipur - all day tour:

All day, visit the city of Udaipur, the city of lakes. Visit the City Palace, one of the most beautiful palace  in Rajasthan, a complex complex of Maharaja palaces, including the Chandra Mahal and Mubarak Mahal palaces and a museum. The King still lives in part of his palace today. Then visit the Saheliyon Ki Baari garden designed by RanaSangram Singh, next to Lake Fatehsagar, famous for its artificial fountains (all powered by gravity only), its lotus pool and its elephant sculptures. In the evening, you can attend a religious performance at Jagdish Temple and take a boat trip on Lake Pichola, in the center of the city. Return and overnight at the hotel.

Day 9
Udaipur - Mount Abu:

In the morning, departure towards Mount Abu, a small mountainous region of Rajasthan, located near the border of Gujarat. Visit the old fort of Achalgarh, north of Mount Abu with Mewar architecture. In the evening, stroll on Lake Nakki at sunset with a magnificent view of the city. Return and overnight at the hotel.

Mount Abu - visit:
Visit the Jain temples of Dilwara, well known in the world for their architecture. The

These Jain temples were built by Vimal Shah between the 11th and 13th centuries AD and are famous for their use of marble and intricate marble sculptures. The five marble temples of Dilwara are a sacred pilgrimage site for the Jains. Some consider them one of the most beautiful Jain pilgrimage sites in the world. Then visit the RaghunathNath temple, located near Lake Nakki. The Raghunath Temple consists of a complex of seven Hindu shrines. To end the day, explore the local bazaars to buy souvenirs. Return and overnight at the hotel.

Day 11
Mount Abu - Jawai Bandh:

Discovery of JawaiBandh, a wild region with spectacular views of the granite hills of Jawai; a wonderful place where you will stay in luxurious tents with all mod cons: a unique experience. On arrival, warm and traditional welcome. Before lunch, you will take possession of your tent. Then jeep safari to see animals, especially leopards. Return to the camp at the end of the afternoon, tea and cookies. Rest for a few hours then dine under the stars around a large fire.

Day 12
Jawai Bandh - jeep safaris:

At sunrise, jeep safari to discover animals with a professional guide who explains the history of the region. Return and quiet breakfast. Rest for a few hours. Second evening safari. Return and free time to explore the surroundings and take a short trek around your camp.

Day 13
Jawai - Rohet:

After breakfast, drive to Rohet and transfer to the historic hotel “Rohet Garh”, located right next to a lake, in the center of a small village. Free day to discover the region and meet the locals. Possibility of doing several activities organized by the hotel such as a walk in a village (unique experience of meeting with locals), a horse ride Marwari (breed of horses native to the region of Rajasthan), the discovery of birds, participation at a royal picnic by the lake. Return and overnight at the hotel.

Day 14
Rohet - Chhatra Sagar:

 magnificent view. A less touristy destination, you must deserve this place after several hours of chaotic roads. You will stay in this camp, with luxurious tents, perched on a dam built at the end of the 19th century by a local lord. It is still his descendants who operate the place. The reservoir retains many birds and the view of the countryside is superb, far from the bustle of big cities. Stay at camp with all meals included. Free evening and overnight in the tent.
Day 15
Chhatra Sagar - all day visit:

Wake up early to enjoy a magnificent sunrise followed by breakfast. Visit of the region and possibility of participating in the activities organized by the camp manager like visit to the farm and the village to meet locals, short hike to see the birds around the village. Return and overnight in tents.

Day 16
Chhatra Sagar - Pushkar:

After breakfast, drive to Pushkar, a major pilgrimage site for Hinduism. Transfer to the hotel then visit of the small sacred lake located in the center  as well as the temple of Brahmâ. The legend says that the gods released a swan with a lotus in the beak. He had to drop this lotus at the place where Brahma was to perform a yajna (Hindu ritual). It was at Pushkar that he brought down this lotus. This is why Pushkar is one of the rare places in India where a temple is dedicated to the god Brahma. The city was an important crossing point during the hippie pilgrimages of the 1970s. Free evening (for example to go walking around the lake and visit the small markets to buy souvenirs). Night at the hotel.

Day 17
Pushkar - Jaipur:

After breakfast, continue your journey to Jaipur, the pink city of Rajasthan. Arrival at the hotel, then visit the City Palace monument, the palace of the Maharaja with a museum dedicated to the royal family. Then visit the monument of Jantar Mantar built by Sawai Jai Singh II. At the end of the day, discover small colorful markets on foot. Return to the hotel.

Day 18
Jaipur - all day visit:
  • Start the day with a visit to Fort Amber, the original seat of royal power and one of the most beautiful buildings in Rajasthan, with an elephant ride. Visit the fort with the great history of the Mughal era. Continuation of the visit with the discovery of the Palace of the Winds, an exceptional monument built in red and pink sandstone by King Sawai Pratap Singh in 1799. It is considered one of the marvels of Rajput architecture. The palace is a monument in the shape of a five-story pyramid that rises 15 m. The first three floors of the structure are the width of a single room, while the first and second floors have additional balconies. Its unique five-story facade is like the honeycomb of a beehive with its (it seems) 953 small windows called Jharokhâ, decorated with intricate latticework of stone or wood. The original intention was to allow the ladies of the royal harem to observe everyday life on the street without being seen. The architecture of the Hawa Mahal (Palace of the Winds) built in sandstone is magnificent. In the evening, you can see a bollywood film at the Raj Mandir, an old traditional cinema. After a fascinating and tiring day, return to the hotel.
Day 19
Jaipur - Delhi international airport:
Breakfast at the hotel then drive to Delhi for your international flight.
