Maharashtra – a state known for a major city all over the world, Mumbai or Bollywood city. The caves are known for its architecture and history, Ellora and Ajanta in Aurangabad. The state of Madhya Pradesh has many Hindu temples which are known all over the world, such as the Shiva temple in Ujjain.
Visit the regions of Indore, Mandu which have monuments and history of Afghan times. The great Fort at Maheshwar, the sacred river Narmada, the temple of Shiva at Omkareshwar. The city is located on the border of Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra “Jalgaon”, the famous caves of Ajanta and Ellora in Aurangabad and the largest slum in Asia.

Day 1
Arrival at Mumbai International Airport:

Reception at the airport (usually overnight) by our representative and transfer to the hotel with your driver. Night at the hotel.

Day 2
Mumbai - Bhopal (flight):

After breakfast, visit Mumbai, the city with too much traffic everywhere. Take an excursion and visit the Elephanta caves located on an island of Elephanta, this site is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Return in the afternoon and visit the famous sites of Mumbai Gateway of India and transfer to the airport for the flight to Bhopal. Arrival and transfer to the hotel in Bhopal.

Day 3
Bhopal: visit - all day:

All day visit the city of Bhopal, visit to the temple of Shiva which is known for its architecture. Then continue to the UNESCO site – Bhimbetka rock shelters and after the famous Sanchi Stupa. Night at the hotel.

Day 4
Bhopal - Ujjain - Indore:

Depart for Ujjain, a sacred city where you will find several Hindu temples. Visit the most famous temple of god Shiva and Ganesha. Road to Indore, evening visit the small market to buy souvenirs and return to the hotel.

Day 5
Indore - Mandu:

Morning, visit the historic monuments like Rajwada palace, Laal Bagh palace and the Jain Kanch Mandir temple. Continue to Mandu, a city with several ruins and temples of Afghan architecture. Overnight in the hotel.

Day 6
Mandu - Maheshwar - Omkareshwar:

Morning, continue towards Maheshwar and visit the Fort which gives a magnificent view of Narmada, a sacred river with its ghats in India. Towards Omkareshwar, a more sacred city in India and located next to the Narmada river. Visit the large and famous Shiva temple, return to the hotel.

Day 7
Omkareshwar - Jalgaon:

Visit and departure for Jalgaon, a city to enter Maharashtra. Night at the hotel.

Day 8
Jalgaon - Ajanta - Aurangabad:

Early in the morning, drive to the caves of Ajanta which is a UNESCO world heritage site. There are in total 30 caves separated into two divisions and it shows the best architecture of ancient India. Towards Aurangabad and overnight at the hotel.

Day 9
Aurangabad - Ellora - Aurangabad:

Today after breakfast, take an excursion to the Ellora Caves, which is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site. In total there are 34 caves, and cellar number 16 is the best known of god Shiva. Then return and transfer to the hotel.

Day 10
Aurangabad - Mumbai (flight):

In the morning, transfer to Aurangabad airport for a flight from Mumbai. Welcome by your driver at Mumbai airport and continue to the hotel. Then, visit the city of Mumbai where you have an option to visit the largest slum in Asia with a guide. Visit Dhobi ghat, Marine drive and at the end Chowpatty beach which is known for street food. Return and overnight at the hotel.

Day 11
Mumbai - Departure:

After breakfast, direct transfer to Mumbai International Airport for your return flight.
