Maharashtra – a state known for a major city all over the world, Mumbai or Bollywood city. Discovered several other small mountainous places like Lonavala and Matheran, possibility of treks, temples and caves of Nasik, temple of Sai baba in Shirdi.
The caves known for its architecture and history, Ellora and Ajanta in Aurangabad. Visit the city of Pune where there are several good universities and end up with Mahabaleshwar which is a mountainous region between Pune and Mumbai.

Itinerary

Day 1

Arrival at Mumbai International Airport:

Reception at the airport (usually overnight) by our representative and transfer to the hotel with your driver. Night at the hotel

Day 2

Mumbai:

Your first day of visiting India begins in Mumbai, the city with too much traffic everywhere. Take an excursion and visit the Elephanta Caves located on an Elephanta Island, this site is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Return in the afternoon and visit the famous sites of Mumbai Gateway of India, Dhobi ghat, Marine drive and at the end Chowpatty beach which is known for street food. Night at the hotel.

Day 3

Mumbai - Lonavala:

Continue to Lonavala, a mountainous region of Maharashtara. You are free to make the small treks in the mountains and rest well at the hotel.

Day 4

Lonavala: visit - all day:

visit the caves of Karla and Bhaja then free day.

Day 5

Lonavala - Matheran:

Road to Matheran, you are free to explore the region or take the treks. Night at the hotel.

Day 6

Matheran - Nasik:

After breakfast, drive to Nasik. In the afternoon, visit the city, its temples, the caves and return to the hotel.

Day 7

Nasik - Shirdi:

Continue to Shirdi and visit one of the most famous Maharashtra temple of Sai Baba. See several examples of its existence a few years ago. In the evening, free to visit the religious market. Night at the hotel.

Day 8

Shirdi - Ellora - Aurangabad:

Take the road to Aurangabad and en route visit the Ellora Caves which is also a Unesco World Heritage Site. In total there are 34 caves, and cave number 16 is the best known of god Shiva. Then to Aurangabad and overnight at the hotel.

Day 9

Aurangabad - Ajanta - Aurangabad:

After breakfast, excursion to the Ajanta caves which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. There are a total of 30 caves separated into two divisions and it shows the best architecture of ancient India. Return to Aurangabad and overnight at the hotel.

Day 10

Aurangabad - Pune:

In the morning visit the museum of Shivaji Maharaj “an Indian warrior” who is very famous especially in Maharashtra. Road to Pune, a city with many well-known and modern Universities. Night at the hotel.

Day 11

Pune - Mahabaleshwar:

Morning visit Shaniwar wada, an 18th century fort and Aga Khan palace. Afternoon, drive to Mahabaleshwar which is a last mountainous region in Maharashtra in your itinerary.

Day 12

Mahabaleshwar: visit - all day:

Day visit that will include a waterfall and a lake. Free time to explore and walk in this beautiful region.

Day 13

Mahabaleshwar - Mumbai:

Continue to Mumbai, arrive and free day to rest or buy souvenirs from India.

Day 14

Mumbai - Departure:

After breakfast, transfer to Mumbai International Airport for your return flight.
